The subject is the main person or object in a sentence and verb is the action word. In that sentence, 'I' is the subject and 'hope' is the verb or the action. The sentence is in inverted order when the main verb, a helping verb or a prepositional phrase comes before the subject. Most questions are in inverted order. So are sentences that begin with here is, here are, there is, or there are. Writers sometimes use inverted order to create an effect or to change the emphasis in a sentence.

Our lesson was about Unchanging Values In The VUCA World. Literature indeed reflects society, its good values, and its ills. In its corrective function, literature mirrors the ills of society with a view of realizing its mistakes and making amendments. It also projects the virtues or good values in society for people to emulate (Benjamin, 2016). Values are passed from culture to culture, from generation to generation. However, in this modern times, it is claimed by scientists that change in society has been happening at a pace they have never seen before. Everything can change in just a snap. They refer to it as the VUCA world. First used in 1987, VUCA is an acronym based on the leadership theories of Warren Bennis and Burt Nanus, which stands for volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. In a VUCA world, the most important thing is to anticipate the future and strengthen cooperation to come up with better solutions to problems and challenges.
